How do I use Voyager 3's buttons?

TinyPilot Voyager 3 devices have two buttons on the front of the device that allow you to perform a few different functions.

Button 1

Cycle through views

You can cycle through the views Voyager 3's display by performing a short press on Button 1. Voyager 3 currently has the following views:

  • System overview
  • LAN1 network status
  • LAN2 network status (Voyager 3 Plus only)
  • Wi-Fi network status.

Shutdown

You can perform a graceful shutdown on your TinyPilot Voyager 3 by performing a long press (press and hold for 5 seconds) on Button 1. Once the device shuts down, you can safely remove power from your TinyPilot device.

Button 2

Factory reset

You can trigger a factory reset using Button 2 when you connect a USB drive with a TinyPilot Voyager 3 recovery image. To perform the reset, you must hold down Button 2 for around 10 seconds while powering on the device. For a more detailed guide, see our "How do I perform a factory reset" FAQ.
